Stevens-Johnson syndrome, with ocular complications and unfavourable outcome in Marieta Dumitrache by Journal of Clinical Case Reports Medical Images and Health Sciences Abstract Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is an acute, rare but serious vasculitis, triggered by a type III hypersensitivity reaction, clinically manifested by a maculo-vesiculo-bullous erythematous eruption and hemorrhagic skin-mucosal erosions, accompanied by rapidly progressive complications. SJS is an important cause of ocular morbidity.
